Not working.Value is not getting passed in

var parameterFieldDefenitions = report.DataDefinition.ParameterFields;

after this it goes to next line and shows error

Invalid index. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8002000B (DISP_E_BADINDEX))

actually in the fist line value is not getting passed
in this line: var parameterFieldDefenitions
