This is great news because it means you can save on your bandwidth delivering these common libraries and your users will benefit from an even faster experience because the CDN's network will typically have servers closer to the user's geographic location (meaning faster network latency times) and more importantly, once a user hits any site that uses the CDN location for the AJAX library, their browser will cache that file and other sites using the CDN won't require the user to download anything at all  they'll simply use the previously cached library.</p> <p>What's more the CDN has just been upgraded to include support for SSL. <a href="http://devmavens.com/scottguthrie">ScottGu</a> just blogged about <a href="http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2009/11/29/microsoft-ajax-cdn-now-with-ssl-support.aspx">SSL support in the Microsoft AJAX CDN yesterday</a>.
